Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026 · Version 2.0.0
This policy describes which cookies and similar technologies are used by the sites and services of Sinapsis SpA: the corporate site sinapsis.in and the HumanOS platform (humanos.eco, empresa.eco, estudiante.humanos.eco), including the QueBot assistant. It complements the Privacy Policy.
The essentials: we use only essential and functional cookies. We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics on any of our sites.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies also exist, such as local storage (localStorage) and the cache storage used by installable apps (the service worker's Cache Storage). In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of them.
2. Corporate site sinapsis.in
sinapsis.in is a static, informational site and does not set its own tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. When you use it, these services may be involved:
| Origin | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) | Loads the site's typography. Google may log technical data of the request (such as the IP address). | Resource request; sets no tracking cookies from our site |
| Embedded assistant | If you open the assistant, content is loaded from www.humanos.eco (its fallback link opens quebot.sinapsis.in); those services may use cookies or local storage to keep your conversation session. | Functional, only if you open the assistant |
| Installable app (PWA) | The site registers a service worker that stores resources in your browser's local cache for fast loading and offline use. It sends no data to third parties and identifies no one. | Local storage on your device |
3. HumanOS platform
HumanOS requires essential cookies for authentication and session security:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __Host-authjs.session-token | Essential | Authentication session | Session |
| __Host-authjs.csrf-token | Essential | Protection against CSRF attacks | Session |
| __Secure-authjs.callback-url | Essential | Post-authentication return URL | Session |
| cookie_consent | Essential | Records your cookie preference | 1 year |
| guest_mode | Functional | Guest mode for public pages | 24 hours |
| impersonate_student | Functional | Student view activated by their guardian | Session |
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, Google Analytics, social media pixels or any third-party tracker.
4. Third-party cookies
We do not load third-party scripts that set cookies on our sites. Google authentication (OAuth) works through redirection: during sign-in, Google may set its own cookies on its own domain, subject to Google's privacy policy. If you use QueBot via WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp's policies additionally apply to that channel (Annex D of the Privacy Policy).
5. Legal basis
Essential cookies are processed on the basis of contract performance: they are necessary for the service to work. Any future optional cookie (for example, analytics) will require your prior explicit consent, in accordance with Chilean Law No. 21.719 and — as a best-practice reference — the GDPR.
6. How to manage cookies
- On HumanOS, the consent banner shown on your first visit records your preference; you can delete the `cookie_consent` cookie to make it appear again.
- You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent signing in and using the services that require an account.
- You can uninstall the app (PWA) and clear your browser's site data to remove the local cache.
7. Changes
If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy — with a new verifiable version, just like the Privacy Policy — and ask for your consent before setting them.
